so this ismy set for @shsdivaxoxoxo , and I'm sorry for how thrown together it is because it's late but I really really wanted to publish it because I got your message, which I'll reply to tomorrow at lunch, so around 12 my time.
but anyway, Sherrie, I just want to tell you that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. It may not seem like it now, and trust me, I've been at the receiving end of those kind of comments, but I just want to tell you that, that things will get better and things will be okay. Because I've heard that before when I never thought they would change, and I denied that and said it was only for other people and not for me, but things have changed. I know it's hard to imagine right now but please please try to tell yourself that things will change and they'll get better, please. I firmly believe that with time, things will improve. I'm sort of living proof of that, because a few years ago, I did not want to live at all, but things have improved so much since then.
Just know that I love you and I care about you and I'm really really sorry I haven't been great about keeping in touch with you lately but I'll do better at that because I care so much about you and I want you to be happy.
I'm really sorry that that's all I can do right now, is tell you things will get better and that I love you. I wish I could do something else to make things better for you.
but also, one last thing--never feel bad for talking to me about anything, okay? It's fine if my life isn't the best right now. I care about you and I will try to help you no matter what.

so hey, I'm sick right now, but other than that things are getting better.
I'm leaving on Friday to go to my aunt and uncle's house in Florida :D I won't be back online until March 31 because on March 30 I'm going to see Pierce the Veil and Memphis May Fire and others :D I'm so so so excited to see Legacy live because it's helped me through the past few weeks, idk. it'll be weird, going with the people I'm going with, and PTV's setlist honestly could be better, but I'm still super super excited :)
 
and hey, I found someone who wants to and can go to Spring Fever with me! it involves driving an extra three hours to pick her up but it'll be so worth it. it'll be my dream tour, oh my god, I can't wait.
 
and also Mars put out a new single...meh. I just hope the album's better.

I feel really good right now.
I'm positive and inspired and content. I'm happy, and it's been a while since I've felt like this, but I'm just really glad I made it through that storm, I guess, and I'm kind of proud for staying clean too I guess.
Someone I follow on tumblr made a post about photography and stuff which I've been having issues with lately, and he said that not every photo needs to have a deep meaning. Some were taken just to be taken. They don't all need to have a story. They can be taken just to show something beautiful, and I feel like I've forgotten that and like I've been trying to make each photo I take have some meaning, like I've been overthinking it and forcing it, which is never good with any form of art. So I'm going to make that a goal for the rest of the year--to take pictures of what I find beautiful, and to not worry if it's perfect or deep or anything. I'm just going to do what I think will look good, and see how that works out for me.
I need to stop overthinking a lot of things, actually.
I need to let a lot of things go.
So I guess that will be a goal too.
 
Sorry this is so sappy right now, I just, idk, I'm content, and it's nice. Today was a pretty good day, and I took a chance and dyed my hair turquoise and I'm happy with it, and school's going well, and my whole friend situation is improving. I'm learning to be thankful for the good things in my life instead of focusing on the bad, I guess.
Just yeah. Things are good. :)
